A Note About Service Availability

VNA Care aims to align our service offerings with the needs of our patients and their caregivers. However, due to insurance requirements and occasional staffing constraints, there are limitations to the services we can offer. VNA Care's certified home health is not able to accept patients with the following needs or limitations at this time:

  • Intravenous infusions ordered more frequently than once a day
  • Intravenous infusions ordered daily or less frequent without a willing and able caregiver to assist in administration
  • Patients with certain insurances
  • Patients whose needs exceed our staffing capacity
  • Patients whose needs cannot be safely met in the home with intermittent, short-term services from our agency
  • Patients whose needs are chronic (not likely to resolve) and long-standing
  • Patients who need custodial care only (help around the house, supervision for safety, companionship)

Patients whose needs exceed what we are able to provide under our home health program may be eligible for admission to VNA Care's hospice, palliative care or private care services.
