Community Wellness

Wellness Programs, Bereavement Support and Health Education

At VNA Care, our mission goes beyond caring for patients at home; we are also committed to maintaining a healthy community. VNA Care offers numerous clinics, support groups, and educational articles and programs to promote the health, safety, and mental well-being to residents all over Massachusetts.

Through the Wellness Program, we have forged partnerships with local Department of Public Health offices, elder care facilities, and nursing homes to bring added preventative health services to local residents. Contact the Wellness Program at 508-713-2484 for more information or if you would like to set up a clinic or host an education program.

We offer:

  • Flu clinics keep area residents healthy.
  • Keep Well Clinics are a chance for seniors to meet one-on-one with a community health nurse for blood pressure monitoring and other health assessments. Blood pressure screenings are also available for all adults.
  • Bereavement Support Groups
  • Caregiver Resources
  • Health tips on a wide range of topics including fall prevention, myths and facts about hospice, and safely disposing of medications
