Rita Advani Named Chair of VNA Care Board of Directors

VNA Care recently welcomed Rita S. Advani as Chair of the Board of Directors. Advani is the President of Bush Pond Ventures, LLC, an organization focused on increasing science literacy for PreK-Grade 12. She is the Director of High Touch High Tech of New England, an organization that brings STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) enrichment programs to early childhood centers, elementary and middle schools in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She has served as a VNA Care board member for over 11 years.
VNA Care has been caring for patients throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts for more than 130 years using the most advanced clinical technology, evidence-based best practices, and a patient-centered team approach. VNA Care provides home health care, palliative and hospice services allowing individuals to cope with illness and injury while remaining in their own homes or a home-like environment. VNA Care owns and operates three residences in Cambridge, Needham and Worcester.  Wellness programs include flu immunization clinics, cultural competency, workplace health screenings and education.
Advani has developed an extensive science curriculum for preschool age students as well as, a course to guide preschool instructors on teaching science to preschool age children. The course is accredited by MassAEYC (the Massachusetts Association for the Education of Young Children). She brings over 30 years of experience in marketing strategy, global product management, emerging markets development, healthcare and loss prevention. In addition to serving on the VNA Care Board, her community engagement includes serving as a member of a state commission on education, an elected member of a local school board and chairing the municipality’s energy committee.
