VNA Care Appoints Aaron Langlois as Senior Director of Hospice and Palliative Care

VNA Care recently named Aaron Langlois, RN, MBA, CHPN, CHPCA, to the role of senior director of hospice and palliative care.

Langlois will lead the work of VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, part of VNA Care, in improving the quality of life of individuals and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness. Expert pain and symptom management and other services are provided in patients’ homes, assisted living and other facilities, and VNA Hospice & Palliative Care’s three hospice residences (Elizabeth Evarts de Rham Hospice Home in Cambridge, Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, and Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home in Needham).

Langlois brings more than two decades of experience in home health and hospice care to his new role. Prior to joining VNA Care, Langlois held leadership roles at Gentiva Health Services/Kindred Healthcare including executive director of Kindred Hospice and area vice president of clinical operations for the north central region.

Langlois holds a master of business administration from the University of Phoenix. He received a bachelor of arts in social work from Anna Maria College in Paxton and associate’s in nursing from Becker College in Worcester. Langlois is certified as a hospice and palliative nurse, hospice and palliative care administrator, and long-term care ombudsman, and attended the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

A resident of Oakham, Langlois is a member of the Town of Oakham’s Board of Health. He holds multiple leadership positions in the Boy Scouts of America’s Heart of New England Council including as a member of the Executive Board of Directors and vice president of camping/properties for the Executive Committee. He is also a representative for the Troop and Pack 144 Charter Organization.
