Worcester Historical Museum Celebrates our History of Caring From left, Lenny and Charlie Monahan and Mary Ann O’Connor. The Monahans are visionary sponsors of our Worcester anniversary campaign. Lenny, a member of the VNA Care board, also serves as co-chair of the Worcester Area Community Cabinet with Robin Spaulding. This year marks the 125th anniversary of VNA Care’s work in the City of Worcester and the 20th anniversary of the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. A new exhibit at the Worcester Historical Museum chronicles our impact on the city’s residents and our efforts to transform the role of visiting nurse associations. Our Fund Development team hosted an opening reception for supporters and staff, who viewed photographs, documents, uniforms and more from the VNA Care archives. Deborah Corkum, manager of grants and donor communications, helped organize the exhibit with the museum’s staff. VNA Care 125: A History of Caring will be on view through August 31, at the Worcester Historical Society, 30 Elm St., Worcester, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and until 8:30 p.m. on July 27 and Aug. 24.
